Soum schools to be reconstructed with Japanese aid

Ambassador of Japan to Mongolia Masato Takaoke has paid a working visit to Bayankhongor aimag, Mongolia.

 

During the visit, Bayankhongor aimag’s governor G.Batjargal and Ambassador Masato Takaoka signed an agreement on implementing two projects for building an extension to a dormitory of the secondary school in Bayan-Undur soum and reconstruction of a dormitory of the secondary school in Bayantsagaan soum in the scope of the Grass Root - Food Safety Grant Aid Program by the Government of Japan.

 

The total cost of the two projects is estimated at 500 million MNT. The half of the sum will be funded by the Japanese side, whereas the rest of the funds will be covered by the Rural Development Fund.

 

These are the 12th and 13th projects to be implemented within the Grass Root – Food Safety Grant Aid Program.
